The simple iron bowl built up to form a naga eboshi with a modeled demons head on the front, the surface of the bowl with a textured finish lacquered gold. On either side a raised red-lacquered Bonji (Sanskrit - Siddham script) for Dai Nichi Nyorai (the central deity of Esoteric Buddhism). A Hineno jikoro gold-lacquered and laced in sugake odoshi, the fukigaeshi lacquered-red, together with a hambo matching the helmet

Catalog (or Guidebook) for enemy plane ( US Army Navy airplane) 1944: About one year before the end of World War II. My grandmother’s  belongings.

終戦1年前の発行。祖母の遺品だが、子供のころ父が大事にしていた本とのこと。(ムスタングを見ると「太陽の帝国」のジム少年を思い出す。学童疎開していた父もあのくらいの年頃だった。)
